Past Couple Days

I've been busy doing...stuff

Canning, shopping for deals, watching movies with hunter.

Visiting, planning and hearing natasha got her first apartment!

Shane Tash and I went to the Celebration of Lights Finale, a tribute to China.

It was awesome! Best fireworks I've seen.

Before that though, it rained on us, we got soaked. Tasha won way to many games of dutch blitz (i won 1!)

We got a little last and very tired. It was fun though

July 30

I finished my apron today which was way more work than it needed to be.

I also canned 4-500s of peaches and 3 quarts of pickled beans.

We went for a beautiful walk and had grilled pizza for dinner, how much better does summer get?

Hiking, July 28

Wow two days went fast.

We started with Tash and I going for a hike up Vedder Mountian (which you should never attempt with a car)

We ended up walking the 2.5 km to the start of the trail and the the 5.5 to the top. When we got to the almost top we saw this,

And we both couldn't stop laughing, we were so tired at that point, but we managed to make it up and saw this view.

It was so nice to be up there.

We had lunch and started back down.

We were dehydrated at the end of our 16km walkand really glad to see Shane.

Tash and I spent the night in a field under the stars which was amazing. We ate breakfast at the wellington and found some really great deals on fabric.

I din't bring my camera but shane and I went to the agrifair in abbostford tonight.

Just thought I'd update to show you why i haven't been.

My garden is doing good.

The beans are almost done

The cucumber is getting big!

The tomatoes are all still green.

A few days ago I planted parsnips, broccoli, snow peas, brussels sprouts and carrots

These guys are cute!

I made this mixed berry cobbler with some of the blackberries climbing over the back fence

This has been the biggest project of all. The whole house is under a face lift. This office is the only room done.

We also got a new sectional. Bad. I know....but it's awesome!

And last but not least my beautiful mini roses!

Summer flowers bring so much life into the house
