A busy week we've had, full of turmoil and upheaval.
Natasha left. There was lunch, and brunch.
And tears, if you promise not to tell anyone.
The house was turned upside down.
Frantic packing, and feel-good purging.
Plenty of things were sold. So far:
freezer
hutch
dresser
bed
bookcases
side tables
patio set
sad but awesome, you know?
The summer bucket list erased, summer is over
school started for shane, overalls and work boots purchased.
student loans denied.
early morning train trips.
our friends came home from Vietnam and with them presents they spoiled us with.
a beautiful red bowl and two Vietnamese coffee makers.
we've been drinking a lot of it.
Vietnamese coffee that is.
shane won poker
we drank expensive red wine and ate expensive blue cheese.
it was delicious
best summer find of the year? homemade chocolate magic shell.
